WHAM

The 6th Annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM) was a few weeks back. It coincides with the blockbuster ArtCrawl right before Thanksgiving. Winter Street was packed on the opening night of the event. There was also a solo show downstairs in the Spacetaker Gallery. Quite honestly, i was more impressed with the work i saw here than what i saw the following day in the warehouse district. One guy in particular, Vincent Fink, caught my eye. Be on the watch for this guy. trust me.

IAM IS M.I.A.

a friend of mine recently asked me why the magazine was M.I.A. And i honestly didn't have a legit answer. truth be told....I'm a horrible multi-tasker for a lack of better words. when i started investing my time in the the magazine, so many other important things around me started suffering. Its like i can only focus on one major thing at a time unfortunately. I have so many pictures from shows i have been to, interviews from artist, and submissions, that are honestly sitting on my computer. But i promise to open the flood gates soon. Coming up this weekend the 6th Annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM) this Friday November 18th as well as the 19th Annual Houston ArtCrawl on Saturday. so i will be busy. I have some major plans for the next issue of IAM (which is overdue, i know). stay tuned....good things are on the horizon. trust
